This summer I will be volunteering in Córdoba Argentina in day cares, kindergartens and soup kitchens. With the poor living conditions endured by disadvantaged children in Argentina, a large portion suffer from malnutrition and poor hygiene and many are forced to abandon school to help support their families financially. My investment in early childhood development is to help break the poverty cycle in Argentina. The trip costs around $3,500 for 12 weeks. This includes accommodations in the dorm style house, 2 meals a day and transportation to the centers from the dorms. This trip is not only to help save kids lives who are in need but my own. This service work is critical to my recovery. I feel so blessed to have this opportunity. For the past years I have been in and out of rehab centers. I've struggling hard to stay sober in Los Angeles. It's time for a change! Any donation to this trip is GREATLY appreciated, not just for the kids but for my life as well.
